ACCCESS IT?
 Your
complete email will serve as your logon.

We need to manually register you in a
central database, so, please, write the
commitment pledge legibly, especially
your email.
Within a week, a welcome message from
eLibraryUSA will appear in your Inbox,
along with your personal password.
 Go
to http://elibraryusa.state.gov (note
there is no www in the URL)
 Type
in your complete email address: don’t
forget the @ part of the email – and then
type in your personal password in the space
indicated.
 You
know you are successful once you see
ALL RESOURCES at the very top.
 Updated
daily!
 Goes back to 1980
 To see Title List; click on TOOLS at very top
and then Title list – will give individual
journal titles indexed in this database.
 This will give you an Excel Spreadsheet
indicating the exact dates of when a specific
journal was indexed and if full text or not.
 By clicking on ENGLISH at the very top, one
can see the journals in a specific language
(French) and then search those journals in
French!
 You
can listen to the text and download the
MP3 files
 You can convert the text to PDF for a prettier
look and feel
 You can translate the article into French,
Spanish or Portuguese.
 You can download the article
 You can even take the PDF and download to
your eReader – iPad or even to your Kindle

Your eReader can display PDF documents without
losing the formatting of the original file. Works
for iPADs and Kindles! USB transfer to Kindle.

Send PDF documents directly to your eReader
(i.e. via your @Kindle address) or drag and drop
PDF files from your computer to your eReader
(when connected via USB). Clicking on Share,
sends it to another iPad. This can only be done
chapter by chapter.

