AMAZING ADVERBS



Adverbs are words that give more information about an
action
They can tell us how, where, why and when
something happens
They usually go along with verbs in your sentences
For example:
He listened carefully to his teacher.
She accidentally broke the glass.
He has already finished his homework.
INTERESTING IDIOMS


Idioms are phrases that aren’t interpreted literally
Every culture has their own idioms
For example:
She is pulling my leg.
It’s raining cats and dogs.
He finished it just in the nick of time.

Now write some of your own!
