An Initiative of the
Austrian BIT (Bureau for International Research and Technology Co-operation, Vienna)
The EU Fifth Frame-Work Programme on RTD offers a special scheme called Marie-Curie Fellowship
Scheme which supports training and mobility of young postdoctoral researchers in Europe.
The BIT Initiative intends to encourage Polish Researchers to take advantage of the Marie-Curie Scheme
by doing postdoctoral research in Austria. BIT supports your contact to Austrian host institutions like
universities, research institutes and companies. More than 500 Austrian host institutions are looking
forward to welcome you!
If you
 have doctoral diploma (or 4 years research at the postgraduate level)
 are younger than 36 years (allowance is made for military/civil service and child care)
then you are a candidate !
The BIT offers full and free support during all phases of your planned fellowship in Austria.
