How much pollution do
two-stroke engines produce?
• In 1989, all small engines had emissions equal
to 3.5 million cars driven 16,000 miles each.
• 2-strokes are about 10 times more polluting
than 4-strokes. 30% of fuel escapes unburned

• They remain unproven with many negatives
points and concerns:
- Oil consumption - Small reservoir - 30% more parts
