We use IF/WHETHER (APAKAH) if the question in the
form of YES & NO
Contoh :

could speak English
2. Direct : He asked me,” do you live near here
Indirect : He asked me IF/WHETHER I lived
near there
3. Direct : He asked me,” where do you live?
