化學品危害通識制度General education on chemical hazard 此係依照危險物及有害物通識規則制訂，目的在於讓社會 大眾(general public)很容易的 “認識危險的存在(to be aware of danger)” 三種主要的危害資訊轉達工具(three methods to conduct hazard information): 標示(labeling)，物質安全資料表(material safety data sheet, MSDS), 勞工教育訓練(laborer training)。 搭配另外兩項(two other methods): 危害通識計畫(plan for this general education)，以及危害物清單(list of hazardous chemicals)。就更為完整 化工安全概論 Materials applied to this rule Hazardous or dangerous materials如有機溶劑 organic solvents, 特定化學物質specified chemical, 指定之254 chemicals種化學物 Not included: hazardous industrial wastes 有害事 業廢棄物; tobacco 煙草; 食品/飲料/藥物/化妝品 food/drink/drug/cosmetics;製成品 products;非工業 用途之一般民生消費品non-industrial domestic consumer goods; 滅火器 fire extinguisher; intermediate product from process中間產物 化工安全概論 標 示labeling 屬於最直接的認知工具direct cognition 標示包括: 圖示以及內容兩部份(figure + contents)。 圖示要依照分類而定，可以搭配顏色標示 color 圖示之形狀: 直立45o角之正方形(菱形); 紙張 最小的外緣尺寸為100mm, 圖示部份再內縮5 mm 化工安全概論 危害物質分類classification of hazardous materials •參考聯合國危險物運輸委員會規定，共分為九大類。 •第一類: 爆炸物explosive •第二類: 氣體 gas •第三類: 易燃液體flammable liquid •第四類: 易燃固體，自燃物質，禁水性物質easy-to-ignite, self ignition, forbid to contact water •第五類: 氧化性物質，有機過氧化物oxidative, organic peroxide •第六類: 毒性物質及感染性物質toxic, contagious materials •第七類: 放射性物質radioactive •第八類: 腐蝕性物質corrosive •第九類: 其他危險物others 化工安全概論 •又分為六組，其 中1.1, 1.2, 1.3組比 較危險; •可能是固體，液 體或者混合物 •標示為背景橙色， •Explosive material; orange color 化工安全概論 2.
