PRESENTATION
SAAR was created in November 27, 1990. She is now the
second company on the Cameroonian market as such is a
leader in the CIMA zone.
Saar intervenes in the following sectors :
 Life insurance
 Non life insurance
 Real Estate
VISION
on
Our vision is to become a : « World Class African Insurance »
and the said vision can be summarized in three main points :
 Position our company at the level of international norms in
the field of insurance while integrating African peculiarities.
 Provide to our customers products and services adapted
to our environment.
 Efficiently participate to the development of Africa through
our actions.
SHAREHOLDINGS
The two main shareholders of SAAR are :
SAPA : A venture capital company that was created on one
hand to allow Cameroonians to actively participate in the
privatization process and on the other hand to enhance the
creation of companies.
Afriland First Bank Cameroon : It is the first Cameroonian
bank with a total balance sheet of EUR 1.073 billion.
