Common Symbols
Common Abbreviations
 Awk→ Awkward: Need to change the language or wording.
Does not read smoothly.
 Frag → Fragment: Not a complete sentence.
 Sp → Spelling: Check the spelling or spell something out.
 Rep → Unnecessary Repetition: Can refer to a word, but
also refers to ideas.
 Conf./? → Confusing: Cannot understand the word or idea.
 WC → Word Choice: Consider using a different word.
 RO → Run-On sentence: Need to break into 2 sentences or
fix punctuation.
