Goal #2
New Inclusion Model
Goal 2: By the end of the 2013-2014
school year, the Stapleton staff will work
collaboratively to develop a
comprehensive inclusion plan. The plan
will be shared with all school stakeholders
in order to better address the increasing

grades 1-5.
Highlights/Action Steps

inclusion throughout the following school year.

what is not working.

SAGE students within classrooms.
Goal #3

Stapleton staff will collaborate to cultivate a
plan which creates an environment that is
equitable, positive, inclusive, engaging and
conducive to student learning.
Highlights/Action Steps
• There will be continued “Community Meetings”: monthly, showcasing student
work, celebrating “Student of Week” and recognizing “Golden Eagle”.
• There will be daily announcements: 5th Grade students only, selecting students
who are role-models. Students will earn the right to make the announcements.
• There will be a “Weekly Memo”- informing staff of meetings and happenings
within the building.
• There will be established guidelines for “Student of the Week” that are
consistently followed throughout the building at all grade levels.
• There will be established “School Rules”, which will be followed and enforced
school-wide. The rules will be posted and announced at the first community
meeting in September.
• Teachers will be the models of “Common Courtesy”, by giving it, showing it,
being it and living it!
• All staff members will be “ready to roll at 8:50” and staff will have specific duties
they need perform on a daily basis.
