Energy Overview
According to Merriam Webster, energy is defined as ‘usable power (as
heat or electricity); also: the resources for producing such power.
Whereas physics travel a bit further to define energy as the ‘capacity of
physical system to perform work. Energy exists in several forms such as
heat, kinetic or mechanical energy, light, potential energy, electrical, or
other forms.’
The law of energy conservation states, the total energy of a system
remains constant; however, can transform into another form. Although
energy is constant, worldwide resources are rapidly depleting despite
increased production.
