Activity: What’s Hard about Teaching
Reading in the Workplace?
In a small group:
1) Introduce yourself : Name, Organization, Position.
2) Discuss what is difficult or confusing about
teaching reading for the workplace, things that
facilitate teaching reading for the workplace, and
what has worked for you when teaching reading for
the workplace.
When planning reading tasks, it is essential to
identify:

• Resources (student, other workers, teacher)
