Werner J. Blau教授，爱尔兰皇家科学院院士，国际知名材料物理学
家、爱尔兰都柏林大学圣三一学院(Trinity College Dublin)物理系前
系主任、爱尔兰聚合物材料研究中心主任、Institute of Physics
Fellow、Institute of Nanotechnolog Fellow。Blau教授在纳米材料和
聚合物复合材料交叉学科领域做出多项极具影响力的学术成果。目
前已在Science、Nature Nanotech、PNAS、Nano Lett.、Phys. Rev.
Lett.、J. Am. Chem. Soc.等杂志发表SCI论文400余篇，累计引用
10000余次，21篇引用过百次，H-index 49。此外出版编辑图书著作
6部，发明专利17项，部分专利已授权给世界知名碳纳米技术公司美国Unidym公司。
演讲题目：Nanocarbon for photonics and optoelectronics
摘要：Nanocarbons possess a variety of nearly ideal, lowdimensional nanostructures that cause them to attain unique
electronic and optical properties. This talk reviews our research
in the area of nanocarbon optics and optoelectronics, which help
to summarize the emerging broad range of applications and to
expand the understanding of their properties.
