2012 Campaign
United Way Information
LOCAL: United Way is a nonprofit organization that is helping
to improve lives and community conditions.
Money raised here stays here and supports individuals and
families in all communities in Washington County.
DIVERSE: United Way supports 33 local programs through 20
agencies that are addressing critical issues such as domestic
abuse, hunger, homelessness, services for people with
disabilities and services for seniors.

BROAD REACH: Last year over 28,000 services were
utilized from United Way funded programs.
ACCOUNTABLE: Local volunteers determine agency
funding every year and are responsible for: Reviewing
agency budgets, conducting on-site inspections of
programs, and reviewing agency results.

WIN A CAR!
Car Giveaway – any new or increased gift of $1 a week or
more to United Way of Washington County will automatically
enter donor in the drawing to win a Toyota Corolla Car. Note:
pledge/donation needs to be in the United Way office by noon on
12/14/12. Car is provided by sponsors.
Challenge Match for Leadership Giving!
Leadership Giving Challenge Match – any new gift of $750 or
more or increased gift within leadership giving to the next
leadership level will be matched 100% by West Bend Mutual
Insurance.
