PROJECT
• Introduction of a suitable trainee to the management of a
large multi-sited Trust & busy Anaesthetic Department /
Directorate
• Post Fellowship trainee
• 3 months module supervised by MH & Trust Education
Supervisor & supported by the Medical Director
• 1 session per week on average both in clinical & trainee’s
own time
• Trainee keeps a log and all relevant paperwork & prepares
an end of module presentation to the Anaesthetic
department

THE ANAESTHETIC DEPARTMENT AT WHH
• Work along side the department Co Leads 
• Work along side the department administrator 
THE ANAESTHETIC DIRECTORATE IN EKHUFT
• Meet the Clinical Director 
• Attend Directorate meeting 
• Attend Critical Care Delivery Group meeting
• Attend Kent & Medway Critical Care Network Group
meeting
PROGRAMME

• Meet with Trust Medical Director 
• Attend Clinical Management Board 
• Meet with Chair of D&T Committee 
• Attend D&T Committee 
• Meet with Trust Operations Manager 

MONITORING
• Meet with Trust Clinical Leadership Champion x 3
• Meet with Trust Education Advisor
• Completion of a Management Project Form to
document the relevant competencies acquired with
the module
• Final evaluation by Trust Leadership Team
