What is ACT Aspire?
Act Aspire is a computer-based assessment
system to fully connect student performance
from elementary grades through high school in
the context of college and career readiness.
ACT Aspire will assist parents and educators
with information they need to help students get
and stay on track by connecting assessment to
teaching and learning. ACT Aspire is an
assessment system developed to identify a
student’s predicted path through individualized
reporting. It highlights gaps between what
students have learned and what they need to
learn.
What about ARMT+ Science?
The Alabama Science Assessment will be given to
5th graders via paper-pencil format. The
ARMT+ Science test is a multiple-choice test
designed to assess 5th and 7th grade students’
mastery of Alabama state science content
standards. Fifth graders are assessed in the
areas of life, physical, earth, and space science.
