INTRODUCTION
I'm doing my project on, the one
and only….MALCOLM X!
Malcolm X was a very interesting
civil rights activist.
And this is a ABC power point on
him!
ARRESTED
While Malcolm was in Harlem, he
was arrested for theft.
He was sentenced for 10 years,
but he got out after 6.

BROTHERS AND
SISTERS
After
Malcolm’s dad
was murdered, his
mother went crazy.
She was checked into a
mental hospital, so
Malcolm was split up
from his brothers and
sisters.

Malcolm had 8 daughters,
but he only met 6 of them.
Betty X was pregnant
with Malcolm’s twin
daughters when he was
killed.

The reason dead has a question mark,
is because when Malcolm died…only a
few people really cared.

your thinking, "WHAT THE
WHAT!”) But that’s what Malcolm
changed his name to while he was
in the NOI.

When Malcolm’s mom went crazy,
he and his siblings were split up

After Malcolm left school, he
moved to Harlem to live with his
half sister. Soon in Harlem,
Malcolm turned to drugs and
gambling.

Malcolm was a great person, but he was very
judgmental against white people…he thought we
should treat them how they treated us.

Even though Martin Luther King
and Malcolm X had different
views on civil rights, they did

but then a teacher said he was a negro, and that negros

while until the leader betrayed
him.

Malcolm Little was born in
Omaha Nebraska in 1925.
His family moved soon after
Malcolm was born.

Malcolm’s parents were Erik and Louise Little.
Malcolm’s dad was murdered when Malcolm was
young.

favorite civil rights activist.

When Malcolm was only 39 years
old, while he was giving a speech,
he was shot and killed on impact.

UGLY
Many people thought that black people were ugly,
gross creatures, but Malcolm knew they were
wrong…and he helped solve that problem.

VIOLENCE
Violence-a powerful word.
Malcolm’s thinking was that
African Americans should do
WHATEVER they had to, to be
free…including violence.

When Malcolm was younger, he
wanted to be white so bad that
he put a chemical in his hair to
make it straight, but it would
burn them.

Malcolm’s real last name was
Little. But he changed it to X
when he was in the NOI to
represent the African American
life he lost.

Malcolm X was a great man, but
when he was young he was very
troubled…poor guy.

Zero is for zero tolerance for discrimination against
anybody.

CONCLUSION
Malcolm X was a great person, and civil rights activist.
He will go down in history forever, and will never be
forgotten.
