Gaining SMIRF Access
& Running Reports
Job Aid
If you have an existing account, click here to see how
to run a report.
To request an account, you’d go to
https://www.mwrportal.army.mil then select New Portal
Registration.
Complete all of the information in the MWR Portal
Login Registration Form (even if you already have
access to other software within portal)
Make sure you check SMIRF box as this indicates you
want access to the software and CLICK SUBMIT
Now you’ll wait for an email
indicating you have access. Once
you receive email, please go to
URL:
https://www.mwrportal.army.mil
Select SMIRF, iMETS, FMBS, TLMS and other
applications link
Verify your certificate and click OK
Click the SMIRF icon. If you see folders, select MIS
Application then SMIRF icon. To move back and forth
through directory select the up icon as seen next to yellow
highlighted arrow.
You’ll see SMIRF menu pop-up. Radio button for
IMCOM should be selected, Click OK.
See Menu above and select drop-down menu for
REPORTS. Notice the number of reports you can
choose to run. We’re using BUDGET vs. ACTUAL
Report for this demonstration.
This is menu that will appear once selected
Select fiscal year and fiscal period of the report
you’re interested in running, radio button for Garrison
then find and click on your Garrison in drop-down
menu. Once complete click START button. Watch
the next few screens to see example…
Click YES to “Do You Want to Run the Report?”
Ta Da!! Your report will pull up. You have the option to save and print.
You should now be able to run SMIRF
