INTRODUCTION

This Industrial Training (BIT3024/34) programme is a core subject to
students undertaking the Bachelors of Business Administration
(Honours), Bachelor of Economics (Honours), and Bachelor of
Knowledge Management (Honours) programmes

Objectives:
Industrial training plays a vital role in preparing the students for the
professional development. From the hands-on training, this course not
only offers an opportunity for the students to put in practice what they
have learned during lectures, but the students can gain good experience
of the real career world. This subject not only fosters synergetic
collaboration between industry and the university in promoting a
knowledgeable society, but the process sets the stage for future
recruitment by potential employers.

The Industrial Training programme is for a period of
continuous 12 weeks (BIT3034) from 2nd March 2015 –
22 May 2015 or 15 weeks (BIT3024) from 2nd March
2015 – 12 June 2015 throughout Trimester 3.
