How did we come about?
Set up in 2005 after the establishment of the
Scottish Personality Disorder Network
Aim of the group was to develop a care pathway
to ensure that clients with a diagnosis of
personality disorder get the best available
treatment with existing resources.

“Snapshot” of the number of people with PD using the
service
Results – 309 people, 1 in 4 of the total client population
Many seen by more than one branch of the service, in
extreme cases by up to five.
