Grants Currently Open
Blue Lamp Trust £500 - £2k
• The Blue Lamp Trust provides funding to community
groups, charities or other organisations for projects that
meet with their aims and objectives: reducing crime or the
fear of crime, improving fire safety and reducing death or
injury on our roads.
Business Supporting Older People Fund £200
• The theme for the fund for the third year is "Transport".
BSOP would like to award grants to small community
groups or community intiatives that support transport to
activities; so they can reduce or cover transport costs.
• Local Hampshire groups, whose members are over 55
years of age, can apply for a small grant of £200 towards
their transport costs.
Grants Currently Open
Comic Relief £1k - £10k
• The programme aims to empower local people enabling them
to create lasting change in their communities.
• Projects should be run by people directly affected by the
issues they are dealing with and priority will be given to
small, locally based groups or organisations in areas of
disadvantage that have a clear understanding of the needs of
their community.
• HIWCF have only £40k to distribute in September 2014.

• Older People's Small Grant £500 - £1kProgramme
• This grant has been set-up from funding provided by
Hampshire County Council Adult Services Team to
support older vulnerable people in our communities to
reduce isolation, improve well-being and provide transport
to activities and trips.
• Grassroots Small Grants - £250
• Equipment for community group or community activities
• Community group outings within Hampshire & Isle of
Wight.
• Community group events, volunteer expenses, training
If you need an apprentice?
• This Apprenticeship scheme has been developed by the
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation, and
is supported by Youth Options, is a unique programme
offering a grant to voluntary and community groups to pay
for and support a young person on an apprenticeship
placement within their organisation.
• Apprenticeships must be centred around Business
Administration or Customer Services. Priority will be
given to those organisations who demonstrate sustainable
employment.
• Any enquiries about the Apprenticeship
placements should be directed to Youth Options on
