Take Two SI Mentoring Program
2011 Take Two Mentoring Program launched:
• Mentoring program for Leadership Group commenced in April 2011 and
concluded on August 31.
• Expressions of interest invited from Leadership group members interested
in being a mentor/mentee
• List of mentors/mentees and areas of expertise established
• Matching of mentors and mentees carried out
• Feedback has indicated successful results using a variety of techniques –
shadowing, face to face meetings, emails, phone calls
• 2012 Stage 2 is to include other target groups such as Head Teachers and
new teachers.

Leadership Self-Assessment Tool
• Current Leadership Tool on My Leadership Wiki is no longer in line with
our Leadership Program
• New Leadership Self-Assessment Tool has been sponsored by the
Leadership Reference Group and developed by Workforce Development
Unit.
• Aligns to leadership capabilities in NSW Public Sector Capability
Framework.
• New tool will be available on SydNet (My Leadership Wiki) for 2012
