What’s the Reality?
• Sec 3 & 4: 2-year course to prepare for the
GCE “O” Level Examination
• At Sec 3:
- 60-70% of syllabus is completed
- Foundation skills/content for O Level
• Syllabus is completed by end April at Sec 4
What’s the Reality?
• Rigour starts @ Sec 3
• Good study habits must be established @
Sec 3
• Strive to achieve targets set
• Sec 3 is not a honeymoon year

• Very demanding – understanding of
concepts is critical
• Rigorous practice is needed to apply
formulae
