Who is the Dorset Waste Partnership?
The Dorset Waste Partnership (DWP) launched in
April 2011, formed of the seven Dorset councils, not
including Bournemouth and Poole.
The DWP currently provides the waste collection and disposal
services in Christchurch, East Dorset, North Dorset and
Purbeck.
West Dorset and Weymouth & Portland councils will become full
partners of the DWP in April 2013.
Looking to provide a uniform collection service across all areas.

We are now able to provide:
General waste collections
Paper and cardboard collections
A variety of collection frequencies
A variety of bin sizes plus a sack service for small
businesses or those without the space to store bins
We currently cover:
• Christchurch, East Dorset and North Dorset
• Moving forward, we will be covering Purbeck and will
be offering greater collection services

In the future…
We want to be able to offer businesses the same
collection of materials as households once the new
domestic recycle for Dorset service is rolled out
