Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is a wholly owned Enterprise of the
Government of India under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy
(DAE), Government of India. It has been incorporated in September 1987. The 540 MWe
TAPP-3, a totally indigenous nuclear power unit, is the 16th nuclear power reactor in the
country. It has been designed and built by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited
(NPCIL), a public sector undertaking under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). Many
DAE units have provided valuable R&D and material inputs. Indian industry has played a
major role in supply of critical equipment and in meeting highly crashed construction
schedules.
Insight – Role Play
INSIGHT is being approached for solution design & the whole turnkey project. INSIGHT comes from Strong
System Integration background and its key affiliations with industry leaders like HP, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco,
3Com and Molex etc. have designed solutions in line of business requirements of TAPP3 &4.
Key infrastructure was deployed in line with the Civil Contractor over 7+ years are.

•Done end to end structure cabling for data ,Voice and OFC for more then 3000 Nodes spreader across
7Km of radius, more then 100Km of OFC.
•DataCentre including CIVIL and others aspect of IT including Power, security physical/logical, cooling ,
Active , passive and other IT aspect. Area is 2050 Sqft.
•3COM Solution for 2000 Nodes (Three tier architecture camps wide (23 OFC Segments))
•Juniper solution 800 Nodes
•Dlink Solution 200 Nodes
•Infrastructure products like Servers (70+), Desktop (700+) , Laptop (200+) and Printers
•Backup solution.
