The Government of India Department of Information
Technology has approved the Policy for setting up of the
ITIRs in May 2008
ITIR Policy released in May 2008
Specifically delineated Investment Region of ~ 40 sq. km
Establishment of Information Technology/ Information
Technology Enabled Services and Electronic Hardware
Manufacturing Units (EHM Units) facilities along with the
associated services and infrastructure
