1. Complete CMP application form and
demonstrate eligibility
2. Successfully pass computerized
examination
Eligibility Requirements
1.
Professional Experience (one of the following)
 36 months full time work experience
 24 months full time work experience and a bachelor’s
degree meeting, event, exhibition or
hospitality/tourism management
 Full time instructor in meeting, event or
hospitality/tourism management and 36 months of full
time experience in academia
2.
Internship or Continuing Education (one of the following)
 Internship with 200 hours of work experience
 25 hours of related continuing education credits

to the examination
 Meets every second Monday evening from 5:30pm to
7:30pm
 $50.00 for MPI members or $150 for non-members
