About Chapter 17

Bud and the band were at the Log Cabin
where the band practices and Mr. Calloway
is working Brian to death, but Bud is really
having fun doing it. As the band starts to
play Bud is thinking they are the most
beautiful sounds he ever heard. He thinks
it’s the sax, the trombone, or the trumpet,
but when Ms. Thomas starts to sing it’s her.
The Bigg Chapter 18
• In Chapter 18 something so big happened,
I had to call this slide the big chapter
18. In chapter 18 the band was on the
way to a gig. The place was called the
laughing jackass. There Bud found that
Mr.C had rocks just like him. Mr.C being
so stubborn didn’t believe him. So Bud
pulled his rocks out and proved it. When
Mr.C show them he got mad and asked
where did you get them. So bud said his
mother and they wanted to know her
name. So Bud said Angela. Mr.C almost
had a heart attack so Mr. Jimmy had to
explain to bud that Mr. C wasn’t his
father but he was his grandfather.
The Finale Chapter 19
• In this chapter Mr.C finally
excepted Bud and was grieving
because he found out his
daughter was dead. The band
members bought Bud an alto
sax. Bud then settle in his
mama’s old room. He soon
started to practice his Sax.
