緣起於一個夢想~~
iEARN 創辦人 Mr. Peter Copen
爺爺，當你年輕時，你為這個世界做了什麼？
•1988年，由the Copen Family Foundation
贊助，協助莫斯科 12學校與紐約州 12 學
校嘗試遠距教學合作計畫
“This is not only about education; it’s about saving
the world and the role that education can play it.”

•1990年，9個國家的教育工作者主動參與
•1994年於阿根廷，舉辦第一屆iEARN年會，
國際iEARN正式成立
•1998年首度於年會中加入青少年高峰會
(Youth Summit)
•每年七月於不同國家（地區）舉辦，分享
及交流專案成果

iEARN Taiwan「台灣國際教育資源網學會」
•於2001年5月成立
•iEARN Taiwan行政團隊由現職教師義務擔任
，會員遍及臺灣各地之中、小學及大專院校
•2008年根據國際iEARN組織章程，iEARN
Taiwan已成立全球資源中心之一
•截至2010年為止，聯盟學校已達30所左右，
累計參與教師及學生參與人次已高達5000人次
