• The Romans were very greedy • They would eat lots, then make themselves sick so they could eat some more!

Rich Romans ate… • Snails • Giraffe • Larks • Dormice • Wild hare • Peacock brain • Ostrich • Pig • Tongue

Did you know?

• When food went off the Romans would add a sauce to it and still eat it • The sauce was called Garum and it was made of fish guts and blood, herbs and salt…disgusting

What did they drink?

• Lots of wine • Milk
