accounting processes

Not realistic in today’s business world
where even small companies use
computers

SUA provides two options for computerized
systems:
 Microsoft Dynamics - aimed at “middle-market “
companies
 Peachtree - aimed at small business
▪ ~20% market share
▪ More difficult than Quickbooks for end users to learn

Quickbooks was Introduced by Intuit in 1992
 80% market share in small business accounting

Advantages:
 Easy to correct errors
 Students often encounter clients that use
Quickbooks when they enter practice

Waren file is set up so that new items (eg:
customers, vendors, inventory parts) have to be
entered as students enter transactions.

QuickBooks form, looks like a paper form.
