Categorisation of Service Assets
“Category 1” (CAT-1) Services are those for which:
• An implementation of the service exists
• Is running in an operational environment
• Space weather product delivered to at least one
end user.
“Category 2” (CAT-2) is for services that currently
have no end-to-end operation but all the building
blocks for the services exist.
“Category 3” (CAT-3) are services for which at least
one critical building block for service provision is
missing.
