Init : 첫 번째 Hello packet을 받은 상태
2-Way : 모든 neighbor router들과의 2-way connection 설정 단계(Routing information 교환 안됨)
Exstart : Database Description Packet(OSPF packet type 2)을 통해 master/slave 선출
(기준 : OSPF Router ID가 높은것)
Exchange : master/slave는 한 개 이상의 Database Description Packet을 교환

DDP에 최신의 Link-State entry 정보가 있다면 인접 router에게 LSR packet 전송
LSR을 받은 인접 라우터는 LSU packet으로 응답
Full : 인접 router들과 synchronization 완료


router는 traffic을 routing 하기전에 ‘Full state’에 있어야만 함
각 router는 ‘Adjacent Database’라는 인접한 router들의 리스트를 관리
