Three Imperatives of the
Ambassador program

• 1. Provide Christ centered
activities for the 16-21 age
group young people of
the
Church.
• 2. Inspire and motivate them to
utilize their talents within the
context of
the Seventh day
Adventist tradition.
• 3. Nurture their commitment to
the Lord and the Seventh Day
Adventist
Church.

Proceedure for Pilot
Program
• Conference Director selects the Pastors who will
determine the two churches for the pilot program.
• Conference Director discusses the program with the
Pastor.
• The Pastor discusses the program with his Elders and
Church Board.
• The Pastor presents the program to the church.
• The Board selects the Director for the program and
establishes the executive committee.

• The Executive committee will meet and
determine the procedure leading to the
organization of the program.
• The Committee will determine the time
and place of meeting and which
foundation of the Ambassador program
to be initiated.

outdoor/high adventure programming.

of the advance Honor levels as developed
in the AY Honor Handbook.

Recommended Foundations to
Initiate the Ambassador Program
• Community Outreach development through service and
emergency preparedness training
• Friendship skills development through specifically
focused socials and pre-marriage seminars
• Character and personality development/awareness
through outdoor/high adventure programming.
• Life enrichment development through use of the advance
Honor levels as developed in the AY Honor Handbook.

The initial meeting at the Church
The Director of the program will outline;
1. The program for at least the 1st six
months
Have a special motivational speaker
2. Have the participants enroll in the
program
3. Announce the time place and activity for
the next meeting.

Main Resource Material for the core content of
the program
1. The AY Honor book
2. The materials developed by the
Division
3. Materials from the local field, approved
by the Division, may be utilized by the
Ambassador Ministry in order to
strengthen the program.

Recommended Inclusions
•
It is recommended that the Educational
Tours be an integral aspect of this
program
•
As best as possible, Technology should
be heavily utilized in this program
