THERMOCOUPLE

      Available for wide range of temperature from 0° C to 1800° C and sheath for almost all environments. Basic version is with an SS 304 / 316 of O.D. 1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm etc. and weather proof or explosive proof heads. Insulation is provided by means of Mineral Insulation of Ceramic Beads with grounded or ungrounded junction.

The Temperature - EMF characteristics have an established pattern for different type of thermocouple elements like,

T, J, K, N, E, R, S, B etc.

The Skin Thermocouples is Designed to Sense Surface Temperature of Boiler or Process Tubes.

Typical Skin Thermocouple Assembly comprises of MI Thermocouple, welding pad and strap, intermediate loop (twice pipe diameter), adjustable threaded adapter and heavy duty enclosure.

1.) NT-ST-111

   

Ceramic Insulated wire in bead construction.

Sheath material – SS-316, SS 310, SS-446 & Inconel 600.

2.) NT-ST-121

    

Used in Acid & Alkalies.

Sheath material – SS 316 Protection – Teflon Coating Temperature range – Up to 200° C Terminal Head – Suitable for Acidic at mosphere

3.) NT-ST-131

   

Limits of Error for Thermocouple

“RESISTANCE TEMPERATURE DETECTOR”

      These are the most precise type of Sensors in the range of 200° C to 600° C. Basic sensing element is Platinum coil having Resistance 100 Ohms at 0° C-: Pt 100; with a temperature coefficient (alpha) as per DIN 43760. Also available Pt 200, Pt 500, Pt 1000, Cu 50 etc.

The Insulation is provided by means of Ceramic beads, Teflon sheath or Mineral Isulation (Mgo). The Assembly is provided as Simplex, Duplex or Triplex with 2, 3, 4 or 6 wire configuration & with die-cast Aluminium weather proof or explosion proof heads.

It Employs high purity electrical resistance wire, non inductively wound on ceramic or glass base.

The Temperature resistance characteristics have an established pattern for different resistance elements, like Copper, Nickel, and Platinum etc.

“THERMOWELLS”

  

Thermo wells

are used to protect temperature sensors used to monitor industrial processes while permitting accurate measurement. They are typically installed in piping systems and subject to both hydrostatic and aerodynamic forces.

A Wide range of Thermo wells for almost all temperature sensing requirements in high & low temperature, high pressure, high velocity corrosive & abrasive media.

These are available as drilled from bar stock or fabricated from tubes / pipes with threaded or flanged connection; the shank being straight or tapered as per requirements.

Mounting

 S.S. or Cast Aluminium flange for adjustable immersion lengths.

 Screwed connection of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" BSP or NPT etc. & also compression fittings as per requirement.

 Weld on high pressure flange upto 100 Kg/Sqr-Cm or more pressured in a large no. of custom built designs.

2.) Ceramic Band Heaters

● Advantages: Lower Operating Cost - Because of superior insulation,less heat escapes to the air and less wattage is required to maintain barrel temperature. Also the heater is safer because the external surface is much cooler. Operator Comfort - With the majority of the heat going directly to your process,the ceramic band heater gives off significantly less heat to ambient air thana mica band heater.

3.) Strip Heaters

 

Strip heaters are used in a wide variety of industrial applications. The most frequent use is to heat metal parts (such as dies and platens) by clamping one of the flat surfaces on the metal part. 9.) Porcelain heaters

 

Porcelain Heaters are made with high temperature bearing insulators. Elements in these heaters are exposed partially in air for better transmission of heat. Mostly used in ovens and tanks where draining is not possible to change the heaters.
