FAQ’s on PF withdrawals
1. Can I withdraw my PF accumulations from the TechMahindra PF account?
•
As per the EPF scheme 1952 associates can choose to withdraw their PF accumulations after 2 months from Last
Working Date provided they are not employed in an establishment to which the PF Act applies (i.e PF is not being
deposited for them by the new employer in any other PF account) or are unemployed.
2. I meet the above mentioned conditions. What is the process of withdrawing my Provident
Fund accumulations?

Please generate form 19 & 10 c from ‘ PF Form Generator ’ section on the portal.
•
Affix revenue stamps , sign on sections marked with an ‘X’ ( 3 signs on Form 19 & 2 signs on Form 10 C), attach
supporting documents and submit the same to your location HR Team / IDU HR SPOC. Please DO NOT manually
edit the downloaded forms , or add any information on the form. In case you observe any discrepancy in the
downloaded forms, you can login to the portal again , correct the data and regenerate your forms
•
HR team shall do a quality check of your documents & inform you in case of any discrepancies
•
The forms shall then be submitted to PF Office, Pune and a confirmation email shall be sent to your personal email id
available in EBS-H.
•
RPFC Pune shall process the forms and shall disburse the amount to the your bank account within 30 working days
from form submission date to RPFC

2. How can I track my PF application status after TechMahindra submits my forms to the PF
office?
•
You can check your PF claim status by logging in to the EPFO website http://www.epfindia.com/ClaimStatus_New.html
•
Select PF Office State as ‘MAHARASHTRA’ Select Office Name as ‘PUNE’
•
Enter Establishment code as 34224
•
Enter Extension as 00
•
Account Number : - Enter your PF account number . Your PF account number can be found on all your TechM salary
slips
3. My PF application status shows as ‘Rejected’ on the EPFO portal. How can I know the
exact reason for rejection?
•
Please note that Tech Mahindra does not have any visibility on claim rejection reasons
•
The website may mention that the rejection letter has been sent to the employers. However there is no time frame for
receipt of this letter as it has high dependencies on the PF office dispatch Team & the Post office
•
The fastest way to know the reason for rejection is to raise a grievance with the EPFO grievance cell

4. I have received the form rejection reason. It mentions some documentation / clarification
required from TechMahindra. How do I reinitiate the PF withdrawal process?
•
In some rare instances the PF office might reject the forms due to mismatch in name , any other technical reasons
•
Please inform the rejection reasons for the location HR team
•
Please submit fresh copies of Form 19 , 10C & supporting documents to your location HR Team
•
HR team shall validate the forms & take necessary corrective actions if required
•
The validated forms shall be submitted to PF office, Pune and a confirmation email shall be sent to your personal
email id available in EBS-H.
•
You can check your PF claim status by logging in to the EPFO website

5. I have received my PF amount in my bank account. How do I obtain a statement /
calculation sheet for the credited amount?
•
Your PF account is maintained and administered by RPFC Pune. TechMahindra cannot issue any PF related
statements / Calculation sheets as the PF account
•
In case of any concerns on the credited amount please raise a grievance with the EPFO grievance cell

Scenario 1 : If your Last Working Date is less than 3 years from form submission date
1. Form 19 & 10C
2. 2 Revenue Stamps ( Please affix one stamp each on Form 19 & 10C and sign across the stamp)
3. 1 cancelled bank cheque (Please note that the account should be in the member’s name. Joint accounts are permitted only if the second
account holder is member’s spouse , Request you to only write “Cancelled” on the cheque & do not sign on that Cheque.)
4. Bank Account Statement for last 1 month ( required only if account holder’s name is not printed on the cheque. Printout of e-statement
can be attached) **Please note that co-operative bank accounts are not permitted for PF withdrawal claims
5. Notarized affidavit on a Rs 100 stamp paper confirming that associate is not employed in an
establishment to which the PF Act applies (i.e PF is not being deposited for them in any other PF
account) or s/he has been unemployed

operational for the last 12 months.
8. Notarized affidavit on a Rs 100 stamp paper confirming that associate is unemployed on the date
of form submission
