 IBM's lab main mission is the development and support of systems software, firmware
and middleware in the large systems area.
 RSTL is working on the full life cycle of product components and technology. This
includes IBM System z mainframe, which has high synergy with historical IT
development in Russia, as well as mainframe-connected storage, and software
middleware services including database, virtualization, service management and
messaging.
