َ ‫ين ي ُْؤ ِم ُن‬
َ ‫الَّ ِذ‬
Jo ghaib par imaan latey hain aur adaab key sath namaz partey hain aur
jo kuch ham ney inko ata farmaya hai iss mey sey kharch kartey hain.
Surah Al Baqarah, Ayat 3.

َّ ‫ُس ْن ُبلَ ٍة ِما َئ ُة َح َّب ٍة َو‬

ِ ‫ّللاُ َو‬

Jo log appna mal Huda ki rah mey kharch kartey hain in (key mal) ki
masal iss daney ki si hai jiss sey sath baliyan oogey aur har ek bal mey
so so daney hon. Aur Huda jiss (key mal) ko chahta hai ziyada karta hai.
Wo bari kishaïsh wala aur sab kuch janney wala hai.

َ ‫ِع ْن َد ََب ِِّه ْْ َو ََل َخ ْوف َعلَي ِْه ْْ َو ََل ُُ ْْ َيحْ ََ ُن‬
Jo log appna mal Huda key rastey mey sirf kartey hain phir iss key bad
na iss kharch ka (kisi par) ihsaan rakhtey hain aur na (kisi ko) takleef
detey hain in ka slah in key parwardigar key pass (tiyaar) hai aur (kiyamat
key roz) na inko kuch khof hoga aur na wo ghamgeen hon gey.
Surah Al Baqarah, Ayat 261-262.

Jiss hairat deney key bad (leney waley ko) iza di jaye iss sey to naram baat keh deni aur

َ َ‫ص ْل ًّدا ََل َي ْق ِد‬
َ ‫ص ْل ًّدا َف َت ََ َك ُه‬
َ ‫صا َب ُه َو ِابل َف َت ََ َك ُه‬
َ َ ‫ان َعلَ ْي ِه ُت ََاب َفأ‬
َ ‫َو ْال َي ْو ِْ ْاْل ِخ َِ َف َم َثل ُ ُه َك َم َث ِل‬
ٍ ‫ص ِْ َو‬
َّ ‫َعلَى َشيْ ٍء ِممَّا َك َسبُوا َو‬
‫ين‬
َ َِ ِ‫ّللا ُ ََل َي ْه ِدي ْال َق ْو َْ ْال َكاف‬
Momino! Appney Sadqaat (o hairat) ihsaan rakhney aur iza deney sey iss chahs ki tara
barbad na kardeyna jo logon ko dikhawey key liye maal kharch karta hai aur Huda aur
rozey akhrat par imaan nahi rakhta . To iss (key maal) ki masal iss chithan ki si hai jiss
par thori si matti pari ho aur iss par zor ka mina barass kar iss sey saaf kar daley’ (isi
tara) ye (riyakar) log appney amaal ka kuch bi slah hasal nahi kar sakhey gey. Aur Huda
aisey na shukron ko hidayat nahi diya karta.

ِ ‫ْن َفإِنْ لَ ْْ ي‬
ِ ‫ت أ ُ ُكلَ َها‬
َ ُ‫ّللاُ ِب َما َتعْ َمل‬
ِ ‫ضعْ َِي‬
Aur jo log Huda ki houshnoodi hasal karney key liye aur haloos niyat sey appna maal
kharch kartey hain inki masal ek bagh ki si hai jo unchi jaga par waqiya ho (jab) iss par
mina parey to dugna phal laye aur ager mina na bi parey to hair phoowar hi sahi. Aur
Huda tumarey kaamon ko dekh raha hai.

essence of Islam
Spending in the way of Allah “fee sabeel Allah”
2 forms of charity in Islam :
1) Zakat, obligatory, one of the pillar of
Islam = purify one’s wealth
On every Muslim who is sahib-e-nisab: annual
contribution of 2.5% of one’s wealth
Take from those who have wealth and give it
away to those who do not
Rotation of wealth to balance social inequalitiy

2) Sadaqah (Vonluntary): any good deed
done to please Allah swt
II) Conditions
1) Niyah (intention): should be only
for to please Allah Swt and hope to
get reward in the Hereafter In sha
Allah
2) We must spend only clean, pure
and Hallal (legitimate source)
BECAUSE ALLAH ALMIGHTY ACCEPTS
NOTHING EXCEPT WHAT IS CLEAN,
PURE AND HALLAL.
III) How to spend in the way of
Allah SWT

Do’s:
Charity begins at home…
1.
Smile for your sister
2.
Offer salaam to people
3.
Remove anything from the path of people (stones, thorns, bones…)
4.
Guide a lost person
5.
Give a glass of water to a thirsty person
6.
Enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong Amr bil Ma'ruf wa
Nahy an al Munkar “‫”امر بالمعروف و نهى عن المنكر‬
7.
Take care of one’s family (give food to one's wife or one's children, give
them good education)
8.
Spend on oneself (eat well, dress well)
9.
Spend on close relatives, be kind with them
10.
Feed needy people, care for orphans
11.
Visit the sick
12.
Free a slave
13.
The greatest charity for a Muslim is to learn something and
then teach
it to others.
Every good deed is Sadaqah….


Don’ts
Hide your wealth because Allah knows everything
Spend to please people
Expose or tell everyone about you sadaqah to get
popularity
Follow shaytaan by thinking wealth diminishes by giving
sadaqah
Delay in spending in the way of Allah swt
Charity should not be wasted by spending on the nondeserving
Expect something in return from people

Creates unity, brotherhood in society
Welfare of community, no inequalities
Allah Swt multiplies the reward and wealth
In the Hereafter, we will get back everything we spend in
Duniya
Everything belongs to Allah Swt, we are only carers…
Nabi Saw said “sadaqah is due on every joint of a
person, every day the sun rises.”
Question: Do you still hesitate to spend in
the way of Allah SWT?
