About Prejac
 Dapoxetine is the active component present in
Prejac
 It contains 60mg of Dapoxetine
 Dapoxetine belongs to class of drugs known as the
selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
 It is a short acting SSRI
 It is used for treating men suffering from
premature ejaculation between ages of 18 to 64
years.
Onset of Action and Duration of effect
 The effect of this medicine starts within 1-3 hours
of oral administration.
 The effect of this medicine continues for period of
1-2 hours.
Drug Mechanism
 The main reason behind premature ejaculation is
reduced levels of serotonin in the body.
 Dapoxetine present in this medicine prevents the
breakdown of serotonin.
 Due to this the body has high amount of serotonin
that is essential to control and delay early ejaculation
during climax.
Directions for use
 Prejac medicine should be taken half an hour to
one hour before having sex with a glass of water for
best result.
 A period of 24 hours must pass between two doses
