BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
SIMONA CASELLI
Simona Caselli is Regional Minister for Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing of EmiliaRomagna Region, in Italy, since December 29, 2014.
She is also President of AREFLH, the Assembly of the European Regions Producing
Fruit and Vegetables, since June 22, 2016.
Previously she was Director of Financial Services and Development at CCFS
(Consorzio Cooperativo Finanziario per lo Sviluppo soc. coop - National Financial
Consortium for the Promotion and Development of the Cooperative Movement), based
in Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy. CCFS associates more than 1150 co-ops all over
Italy. She was also President of Legacoop Emilia Ovest, which associates, in the
provinces of Reggio Emilia, Parma and Piacenza, 389 co-ops, with 745.000 members.
Simona Caselli was also member of the Board of Directors of Parma University from
January 2013 until her appointment to Regional Minister.
Simona Caselli was born in Parma in 1961. She graduated cum laude in Economics
and Commerce at Parma University.
