L’amore per la tradizione, il fascino dei segni del tempo
È il cotto che ripropone con assoluto rigore
la vera tradizione dei vecchi fornaciai di Toscana:
i soli ingredienti l’argilla e le braccia dell’uomo.
Nient’altro.
L’effetto di questo manufatto non è facilmente descrivibile
perchè dato da sensazioni tattili e cromatiche allo stesso tempo.
Le prime dovute alla superficie ruvida e mossa,
a volte screpolata, le seconde a quel colore ora rosso,
ora rosa che varia da pezzo a pezzo.
Un prodotto dunque dal fascino incredibile,
che solo l’amore di un artigianato nobile
ed attaccato fino all’inverosimile alla propria tradizione,
può pensare di proporre.
This is the cotto that with absolute rigour offers
the true tradition of the old kiln workers of Tuscany:
the sole ingredients being clay and elbow grease.
Nothing more.
The effect of this production is difficult to describe as it involves both tactile
and chromatic sensations, the former thanks to its coarse,
uneven surfaces, at times rough,
the latter thanks to the intermingling of its red and pink hues
that vary from piece to piece.
A product with incredible fascination therefore,
that only the passion of noble craftsmen
inextricably linked with their trade can convex.
