Tip 3For the best experience with Mijn PostNL, we recommend using the latest version of your
browser.
Tip 4 Ensure that all open access requests have been dealt with before the transfer to Mijn PostNL.
To deal with open access requests, click on ‘Settings’ and ‘Access requests’ in MijnPost.
Is this your first time working with Mijn PostNL? We’ll help you get started with these step-by-step instructions.
1 of 3
Step 1. Logging in on Mijn PostNL
You can use your existing login details to login on Mijn PostNL.
If you do not have a shipment contract with PostNL, we will ask you to agree to our terms and
conditions when you log in on Mijn PostNL for the first time. We will only ask this once, so you will
not have to agree to the terms and conditions for each consignment or shipment.
Step 2. Homepage
After logging in, you will automatically be directed to the Mijn PostNL homepage.
You can navigate to all areas of Mijn PostNL with the menu at the top of the homepage. There are
also icons on the homepage that link directly to the main areas of Mijn PostNL. In order to return to
the homepage, you can always click on the PostNL logo at the top-left of the screen.
Step 3. Settings
All your important settings, such as cost centres, authorisation settings, frequently used
products and the address book are still available in Mijn PostNL.
Good to know: there is now one address book for each customer number. If multiple users are
registered under your customer number, you will see more addresses in your address book than
you previously did. You can find your addresses in the ‘Address book’ module. Select the appropriate
customer number and address group. We collected all the addresses you used in MijnPost in
one address group with your surname. You will also find the specific address groups you made in
MijnPost here. It is no longer possible for users to manage return addresses in the address book.
This is only possible for the administrator under My Account.

Sending Parcels and Letterbox Packets is now even easier
You can easily and quickly send parcels and letterbox packets with the ‘Parcels & Freight’ module. You
can also print shipping labels with an A6 label printer and send notifications to the recipients. For more
information, please refer to the relevant step-by-step cards.
Please note:
• The layout of the csv file used to import addresses has been changed. For more information, please
refer to the relevant step-by-step card on ‘Importing a parcel shipment’.
• You can find the shipments sent before the transfer to Mijn PostNL in the ‘Track & Trace’ module. You
can find your new shipment history in the ‘Parcels & Freight’ module.
Check delivery status
You can check on a shipment’s delivery status in the ‘Track & Trace’ module. This applies to all shipments
you have registered in the ‘Parcels & Freight’ and ‘Registered Mail’ modules.
Information for administrators
In ‘My Account’ the administrator can change user settings and manage customer numbers. To go to
My Account, place your cursor on your login name (top-right of the page) and select ‘My Account’. In
‘My Account’ you can also manage senders and return addresses (under ‘Module settings’). For more
information, please look over the step-by-step instructions for Administrators.

On every page in Mijn PostNL you will find a link Need help? with a list of frequently asked questions,
the manual(s) for the page you are on and the PostNL Customer Service telephone number.
