Cari fratelli e sorelle in Cristo,
che la nascita di Gesù apporti Pace e Gioia a tutti! Lasciamo che
la Sacra Famiglia ci faccia riscoprire il senso della familiarità e dell’unione.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
May the birth of Jesus bring us peace and joy. Let the Holy Family shower us with communion and togetherness.
La Chiesa crede nella Parola di Dio che ci esorta ad aspettare la
seconda venuta del Signore che giungerà inaspettata e all’improvviso
come fosse un ladro. La nostra fede ci guida e ci ricorda questo evento, celebrando ogni anno la nascita di Gesù. Questa celebrazione non
è solo per noi ma anche per i nostri figli e le generazioni future che
Cristo accoglierà in paradiso e per questo motivo è chiesto a tutti di
prepararsi per il giorno del Signore che attende fiducioso la conversione dei nostri cuori.
The Church believes in the word of God which exhorts us that we
need to await the Second Coming of the Lord. But it will come as a
thief and at a time when we don’t expect. But our faith leads us to
remember this future event, by celebrating, every year the birth of
Jesus. This celebration is not only for us, but for our Children and
the future generation, that certainly Christ will come and take us to
heaven. Hence all of us are asked to make ourselves ready for the
day of the Lord. The Lord is asking for the conversion of our heart
and await with expectation.
La celebrazione del Natale ci rammenta il piano di Dio che ha
mandato il suo unico Figlio tra noi nelle vesti di un bambino. La Vergine Maria, ancella del Signore, è stata scelta per diventare sua madre
e dinanzi a questo bambino, Dio e uomo allo stesso tempo, dobbiamo
presentarci con un’anima candida; dobbiamo diventare simili a Maria,
nostra Madre.
This celebration reminds us how God himself made preparation
for sending His only Son into this world as a Child. Our Blessed
Mother was chosen and prepared. She accepted this invitation by
saying: “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.” Hence, to this Child
both God and Man, we need to cleanse our souls. We need to identify ourselves with our Mother Mary.
Il Natale ancora una volta ci rivela la grande verità secondo la quale Dio ci ha talmente amati da inviare il suo unico Figlio in mezzo a
noi. Gloria a Dio nell’alto dei cieli e pace in terra agli uomini di buona
volontà.
Christmas once again brings us the truth that God loved us so
much that He sent His only Son. Glory to God in the highest and
peace to people of good will. It is a joy and a gift that should be
shared with all the people. The humanity itself taken up by God who
became man. It is a great consolation and at the same time a great
responsibility.
Il Natale è una gioia ed un regalo che dovrebbe essere vissuto da
ognuno di noi come segno di consolazione e responsabilità.
Facciamo festa assieme ai pastori con semplicità e convinzione. I
nostri festeggiamenti attesteranno la purezza e la bontà dei nostri
cuori. Il Natale ci invita a diventare portatori della Parola di Dio e ad
essere testimoni della grandezza del Suo Regno. Possa il Natale,
quale regalo di Dio Padre, benedire tutti i fedeli ed ognuno di noi con
pace, gioia e felicità.

Let us join the shepherds in our simplicity and a mind set of believing. The external celebration must demonstrate the inward holiness of our hearts. It is an invitation for us to be evangelizers and
preachers of the Word of God, thus continue to assist the growth of
the Kingdom of God. May this Christmas, a gift of God the Father,
bless all our faithful and all people of our land with peace, joy and
happiness.
