2017 FA Kart chassis models conceal news of great interest that
will make these chassis more and more performing, further
enhancing the qualities that this year have allowed FA Kart to win
the European Championship on OK Junior class.
VICTORY S AND V2S
Both of our models have been refined thanks to the inexhaustible work
of our technicians and to the implementation of new and more
sophisticated working machinery. This has allowed to some interesting
developments in the frame and improvements to the steering column
support connection and the front bumper connection.
OK and OKJ models of 2017 will have a modified centre flange, forged
with a new design to better accommodate the muffler of the new
engines.
New designed components are also the throttle cable adjustment, the
sprocketʼs hub (with two screws), the new floor plate (thickness 1.5 mm)
and the chain guard support, one-piece and made of a new lighter
material. The new braking system, equipped with the very new BSD
caliper, forged in one-piece and able to guarantee greater rigidity,
strength and performance stability, deserves particular attention. The
upgrade on the components and the spare parts mentioned above has
also allowed to treat what is not easily visible, but of great substance,
the weight. Today, the VICTORY S and the V2S are lighter than their
predecessors, so drivers can handle with the weight distribution even
better.
KZ. The specific needs of the categories with the gear required special
attention, so the models reserved for KZ have frames whose design has
been refined especially for this category.
Just to fully meet the specific needs, on the KZ frames the seat support
connections have been modified, to allow a better housing.
Among the interesting news, is the clutch lever, totally new. Designed
and manufactured to keep up with the steering wheel angle, optimizing
its use in the demanding phases of the start. This was made possible
thanks to an enhancement which allows you to adapt the clutch to
different wheel hubs types. This is a very important aspect since the
new clutch thus allows many adjustments of the driving position.
MINI. The NEOS will not disappoint the youngest drivers, it is actually a
completely renewed model, with substantial changes than its
predecessor. To make this FA KART a special model are two key
aspects, the geometry of the frame, totally renovated than the Rookieʼs
as well as the manufacturing process. The design philosophy of the
Neos is totally inspired by top range model, the Victory S. The most
evident innovations are the new brake hoses, the high-grip steering
wheel, the new silencer connection, the multi-hole bearings, the throttle
adjustment, the new stub axles and the new wheel hubs. The NEOS will
be also equipped with the aluminium AXJ wheels (110.145), featured by
a new design conceived by our R&D department. A separate chapter
deserves NEOS braking system, called BSM2, equipped with a special
brake pump, as a result of a new project.
The new chassis will be available from January 2017.

I modelli 2017 FA Kart celano novità di grande interesse che
contribuiscono a rendere questi kart sempre più performanti,
esaltandone ulteriormente le doti che anche questʼanno hanno
permesso a FA Kart di vincere il Campionato Europeo OK Junior.

Entrambi i nostri modelli sono stati perfezionati grazie allʼinesauribile
lavoro dei nostri tecnici e allʼadozione di nuovi, e più sofisticati,
macchinari per la lavorazione. Questo ha portato a degli interessanti
sviluppi nelle scocche con interventi agli attacchi al supporto del
piantone dello sterzo e allʼattacco del paraurti anteriore.
I modelli destinati alle categorie OK e OKJ hanno una modifica alla
flangia centrale, forgiata secondo un nuovo disegno che permette di
accogliere al meglio la marmitta delle nuove motorizzazioni.
Di nuova concezione sono anche il registro del cavo dellʼacceleratore, il
mozzo portacorona (dotato di due viti), il pianale da 1,5 mm di spessore
e il supporto paracatena, monopezzo e realizzato in un nuovo materiale,
più leggero.
Una particolare attenzione la merita il nuovo sistema frenante, dotato
della nuovissima pinza BSD, forgiata in un solo pezzo e capace di
garantire maggior rigidità, resistenza e stabilità di rendimento.
Lʼupgrade complessivo sulle componenti e gli elementi costruttivi sopra
citati, ha permesso di sposare sempre meglio un fattore non facilmente
visibile, ma di grande sostanza, il peso. Oggi i VICTORY S e V2S sono
più leggeri dei loro predecessori, in questo modo i piloti hanno lʼindubbio
vantaggio di poter gestire ancora meglio la distribuzione dei pesi.
KZ. Le esigenze specifiche delle categorie con il cambio hanno richiesto
una dedizione particolare e così i modelli destinati alla KZ presentano
scocche il cui disegno è stato perfezionato per questa categoria.
Proprio per soddisfare pienamente le specifiche esigenze, sulle scocche
dei KZ gli attacchi del supporto sedile sono stati modificati per
permettere un miglior fissaggio.
Tra le novità di sicuro interesse vi è la leva della frizione, totalmente
nuova. Questa è stata progettata e realizzata per assecondare
lʼinclinazione del volante, in modo da ottimizzarne lʼutilizzo nelle
impegnative fasi di start. Questo risultato è stato conseguito grazie ad
un progetto totalmente nuovo, che permette di avvitare la leva stessa a
diversi tipi di mozzo volante. Questo è un aspetto importante da
sottolineare, in effetti la nuova leva frizione incrementa le possibilità di
personalizzazione della posizione di guida.
MINI. Il Neos non lascia certamente i più giovani piloti delusi, infatti si
tratta di un modello totalmente nuovo, con modifiche sostanziali rispetto
al suo predecessore. A rendere speciale questo FA KART sono due
aspetti fondamentali, le geometrie della scocca, totalmente ridisegnate
rispetto al Rookie, e le lavorazioni con cui è prodotto. La filosofia
progettuale alla base del Neos è totalmente ispirata dal modello top
della produzione il Victory S. Le innovazioni più visibili sono i nuovi tubi
freno, il volante high grip, il nuovo attacco per la marmitta, le boccole
multiforo, il registro acceleratore, i nuovi fuselli e i nuovi mozzi ruota. Il
Neos inoltre è equipaggiato con cerchi in alluminio AXJ (110.145),
caratterizzati da un design nuovo studiato dal nostro reparto di R&S.
Un capitolo a parte lo merita lʼimpianto frenante del NEOS, dotato di una
pompa frutto di un progetto completamente nuovo e denominato BSM2.
I nuovi telai saranno disponibili a partire da gennaio 2017.
