Tasks
The curator will:
Develop a relevant artistic program
Contribute in an inspiring manner to the outlining and content-shaping of the
guest lecturers program (visual artists, curators, theorists, art critics, ...) in
the context of the overall operation of the HISK. This includes the selection,
invitation, and presentation of guest lecturers, the organizing of debates and
responsibilities with regard to final reporting
Provide individual guidance and support to the candidate-laureates in their artistic
process
Position the HISK within the particularly international networks of the art world
Time frame
The start of the assignment coincides with the start of the next academic year
(January 2017). The position has a maximum of 800 annual hours on a freelance
basis for a maximum duration of 2 years
