This charming bottle crystal and sterling silver is called bottle salt or bottle swoon, it was
for the ladies who fell into a swoon. Those responsible for these discomforts were the
corsets that shook them to the extreme size to make it thinner, that part of their
anatomy being the most popular in the nineteenth century, it was necessary to highlight
and showcase. These small bottles that all the pretty women wore on they were intended
