DESCRIZIONE D’USO
L’adattatore per poggiatesta ROHO AGILITY è un accessorio opzionale da utilizzare con gli schienali posturali ROHO AGILITY (AGILITY) per
montare i poggiatesta per carrozzine disponibili in commercio.
ROHO, Inc. consiglia di consultare uno specialista, come un medico o un terapista posturale, per determinare se l’adattatore per poggiatesta AGILITY è indicato per le particolari necessità di seduta dell’utente.
INFORMAZIONI SULLA SICUREZZA
AVVERTENZE
• NON installare l’adattatore per poggiatesta su un’AGILITY senza aver prima letto e compreso questo supplemento. Se serve assistenza, contattare un medico, un fornitore ROHO o ROHO, Inc.
• NON montare, togliere o regolare l’adattatore per poggiatesta se una persona è seduta sulla carrozzina.
• Controllare ogni giorno che l’adattatore per poggiatesta non presenti usura, rottura e che sia sempre ben avvitato. Stringere di nuovo i bulloni osservando le istruzioni fornite. NON continuare ad usare l’adattatore per poggiatesta se qualsiasi componente non può essere stretto o se è rotto.
TRASPORTO SU VEICOLO A MOTORE
ATTENZIONE: Se possibile, la persona sulla carrozzina con un’AGILITY deve essere trasferita in un sedile per veicolo installato dal produttore e usare il sistema di ritenuta dell’occupante testato contro incidenti.
AGILITY con meccanismo di sgancio rapido e adattatore per poggiatesta sono stati collaudati per l’uso in un veicolo a motore da un ente
esterno per i collaudi. Il collaudo è stato eseguito secondo lo standard RESNA WC-4:2012, Sezione 20: Sistemi di seduta per carrozzina per
l’uso su veicoli a motore e ha concluso che AGILITY con l’adattatore per poggiatesta soddisfa tutti i criteri di prestazione applicabili agli
schienali posturali per carrozzina 5.1 di WC20.
AVVERTENZA: AGILITY con un adattatore per poggiatesta deve essere installato correttamente e in modo sicuro sulla carrozzina osservando tutte le istruzioni e gli avvertimenti forniti sia in questo supplemento che nel manuale operativo degli schienali posturali AGILITY.

DESCRIPTION OF USE
The ROHO AGILITY Headrest Adapter Plate (Headrest Adapter) is an optional accessory intended to be used with ROHO AGILITY Back Systems
(AGILITY) to attach commercially-available wheelchair headrests.
ROHO, Inc. recommends that a clinician, such as a doctor or therapist experienced in seating and positioning, be consulted to determine if
the AGILITY Max Contour is appropriate for the individual’s particular seating needs.
INFORMATION FOR SAFETY
WARNINGS
s DO NOT install a Headrest Adapter on an AGILITY without first reading and understanding this supplement. If assistance is needed,
contact a clinician, ROHO provider or ROHO, Inc.
s DO NOT attach, remove or adjust the Headrest Adapter when an individual is seated in the chair.
s Check the Headrest Adapter for wear, breakage and tightness daily. Retighten loose bolts following the instructions included. DO NOT
continue to use the Headrest Adapter if any of the components cannot be tightened or are broken.
MOTOR VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION
CAUTION: Whenever possible, the individual in the wheelchair with an AGILITY should transfer into a manufacturer-installed vehicle
seat and use the vehicle’s crash-tested occupant restraint system.
AGILITY with Quick Release Attachment Hardware and Headrest Adapter has been dynamically tested for use in a motor vehicle by a thirdparty testing facility. Testing was conducted in accordance with standard RESNA WC-4:2012, Section 20: Wheelchair Seating Systems for
Use in Motor Vehicles and concluded that AGILITY with the Headrest Adapter meets all applicable performance criteria for wheelchair back
supports in 5.1 of WC20.
WARNING: AGILITY with a Headrest Adapter must be correctly and securely installed on the wheelchair following all instructions and
warnings provided in this supplement and in the AGILITY Back Systems Operation Manual.
