Step 1: Welcome to Epsilen email will be sent out to all
teachers. It may end up in your JunkEmail so please do not
delete. The next steps will walk you through the Epsilen
activation process.
Note: Epsilen/Project Share is an online platform that
allows users to participate in groups and online courses,
as well as create them. This platform will be used across
the state in a variety of arenas. There are many
professional development sessions that will be including
a follow-up piece using Epsilen/Project Share as well as
information being disseminated from TEA.
Step 2: The email will contain your username and
temporary password. Follow the link to begin registration.
Step 3: login with the appropriate credentials supplied on
the email.
Step 4: Set-up your profile and change your password as
you wish.
Step 4: The security questions are to help you remember
your password. Make sure you pick questions and answers
that you will never forget.
Step 5: You are in! Browse the features and get familiar with
the site as you wish.
Step 6: If you were part of any state trainings this summer
(ELPS, Science Academies, Math Academies, ELAR
Academies, etc.) you may have received an invitation to be
part of a group through your email. Follow the directions to
access your group information.
Step 7: Prefer to get a quick tutorial or have no pending
invitations….No problem! Select COURSES on the far right
hand-side. A drop-down will appear. Select SEARCH
COURSES. In the title type in: Texas Tour. This will take you
to a slide show on how to use the Epsilen system.
Step 8: Click on Texas Tour and your syllabus will appear on
the right hand side. Choose
EPSILEN TOUR and enjoy the
show. This will get you started on all the features of this
web-based forum.
Step 9: Additional information will be coming from TEA
regarding how to use Project Share through Epsilen. Feel
free to do searches on other topics such as CSCOPE so that
you can be part of other state initiatives supported by the
Texas Education Agency.
