Pre-K, Kinder Reading Buddies
In order to combine literacy skills and oral
language development, The Reading Buddies
will be a little different this year.
Parents should read the books at home or in
the library and discuss the following
questions so the student is prepared to
answer them without any assistance.
The student will roll a big dice to determine
which question will be answered.
Students should be prepared to answer the
question loudly and clearly and in a sentence.
For the first nine weeks, students need to
do 2 books a week starting August 18. We
will model the procedure the first 2 weeks
during library class time. Students may
answer the question during library time,
afterschool, or Saturday from 9-11.
