Current Works
• Determined 3.3V regulator board to be used to power
sensor
• Determined necessary parts to implement on protoboard for initial testing
• Researched a lot on power requirements and XBee
functionality
– Specifically researched how XBee creates a network and
A/D programming parameters
• Successfully downloaded both Coordinator and the End
Device Firmware to Xbee
– Ran into trouble when firmware did not download
successfully the first time
What’s Next?
• Perform A/D conversions at XBee End Device
and read data in Terminal from XBee
Coordinator
• Begin testing accelerometer and gyroscope
output on IMU with the assistance of
MobileStudio Board
• Connect output from IMU to XBee and receive
live data wirelessly from IMU
