When Do Placements Happen?
• You choose from…
1. One year full-time placement after your second year
2. Four day per week placement at the start of Part 2 for
three years (Professional Pathway Early Entry)
3. Four day per week placement at the start of Part 3 for
two years (Professional Pathway Late Entry)
4. Placement plus Professional Pathway Late Entry

The Professional Pathway (PP)
• Same course content and exams as full-time students

Requires one day per week at City for 45 weeks of year
Degree with pathway placement takes 4 years
Same duration as one year placement students
Entry points at end of years 1 and 2.

Professional Pathway Mechanics

• Overall performance of 55%+
• Securing an approved placement that allows PP study
• Students enter PP start of Part 3 for 2 years
